Last week I took on a rush freelance job doing calligraphy for birthday party invitations. This kind of impacted my ability to do new art for the webcomic, but I managed to get some new content published last week. There are still place cards as part of the project, and I want to try something different for those.

It’s always fun for to do work by hand; power-off the computer (or more accurately, use it only for iTunes DJ) and test myself.

Needless to say if any of you are wedding planners or know any wedding planners, I would appreciate an introduction. Callligraphy doesn’t pay much, but I really enjoy the work, so it’s a win-win.
